  I used Hamilton Cleaners for the first time in December. I just have to say that not only were my clothes cleaned better than I’ve ever gotten anywhere ever before, but the store was very clean, organized, and the staff was extremely kind and professional. I have to give them 5 stars..

  I gave them a custom made grey suit with minimal dirt stains around the bottom of the legs. They returned my suit 2 completely different shades of grey. When I asked them what happened they said it must have been something I did. I had the suit for 4 years, it had been dry cleaned multiple times with no problems. First time getting it washed at Hamilton Cleaners and it was ruined. After leaving several messages with staff trying to contact the owner for 2 weeks, they proceeded to tell me that I was at fault and they would not do anything to compensate me for the suit that I can no longer wear.

  My bridesmaid dress was ruined here. I brought in a midnight blue silk and velvet Vera Wang dress to be cleaned and hemmed. When I came in for the alterations the colour was taken out of the silk all over the front and back of the gown. It looked as if someone took a stick of deoderant to it or kicked it around on a dirty floor. When I asked the staff about it they honestly didn't care and provided many excuses including that the dress was cheaply made.

  Writing a review for a positive experience is hardly something I do. But I have to say that over the years and up until the present day, I am lucky to have Hamilton Cleaners for my cleaning. I travel very often and have to use other companies while abroad so I know the comparisons. Having a piece of clothing come back softer and more alive is a treat. Knowing that their washing is eco friendly is a bonus. The front staff are wonderful and it's nice knowing that this is a family business. It's not very often that you receive a shirt back with a couple of brand new buttons with them knowing full well that the buttons were not damaged due to their processes. I had a shirt with a couple of cracked buttons (lower part) and they replaced them without hesitation and at no cost. What service! I recommend Hamilton Cleaners to all friends and family.

  I had one bad experience where they shrunk an unlined business type woman's jacket about one and half dress sizes. They would even entertain any likely of culpability. Because the jacket dimensions were not measured prior to them accepting it as an item to be dry cleaned, I had no proof of the sizing of the jacket pre-cleaning. I was most disappointed that they would even entertain the possibility that they could have shrunk the jacket. The jacket was clean but I can no longer wear it. They have cleaned other items for me (different type of fabric) and they were cleaned well.

  Be aware though, if a problem does happen, they will turn their back on the situation and wash their hands of it saying it must be something you did, not them!
